There are some very cool technologies in the market today that help make life easier for us all. There are other products that are just plain cool. The Dell Studio One 19 is both.

Technology has been out for a bit around touch screen interaction. Your iPhone allows you to interact with the device via touch. HP has had a Touchsmart Desktop in the marketplace since last year. The HP Touchsmart is a great interface and a good desktop, but for many folks it is a bit out of their price range today at +$1000. Enter Dell’s Studio One 19.
This all-in-one desktop has built in wireless capability, a 18.5” monitor (measured diagonally), Wireless mouse and keyboard, an integrated webcam, and Dell’s Touch Zone user interface. The product has 4GB of RAM, a 320GB Hard Drive, and runs Vista Home Premium. Even better is that the product is Energy Star rated! The best part is that the product is priced very much below $1000!!!
I wanted to let you all know about this product prior to its launch in stores in a few weeks or so. I have played with this machine and really think it is cool. As an iPhone user, I have gotten used to touch screen and was curious how it would translate to a larger interface. Dell has made the interface very easy to use and has some great software included for painting and music. Using the integrated webcam you can capture and publish content from the desktop to the web.
Walmart will be the only brick and mortar retailer carrying the Dell Studio One 10. The all-in-1 desktop with Touch Zone interface has several colors. Black will be in stores and other colors will be available on our site at www.walmart.com.
Looks like Wall Street Journal ran an article today, so I thought I’d try to give you a little more detail.
