Turok is coming from Disney's Touchstone division. We can expect more adult fare from this division and Turok is Rated M for Mature. Yeah, it is a first person shooter, but adds some pretty cool twists. The first one is dinosaurs. That is correct, you get to battle some overgorwn lizards with a host of weaponry that might make General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin jealous. This game for the PS3 and Xbox 360 looks stunning. You get to play Joseph Turok, yes, it is about time that we have a lead character named Joe. Someone I can identify with a bit :-). He is a Black Operations commando that has to get a war criminal on a highly genetic modified planet. So, not only are you taking out dinosaurs, but some pretty good AI controlled humans as well.

The other neat thing about this game is that you can play in a co-op mode as well. Great fun for all. Fans may recognize the name from comic books and some games of the same name for older platforms. Propaganda, the developer, added some nice weaponry to this title. One of note is the bow and arrow. It has a really slick feel to it and allows for some great hunting. Now, I enjoy deer and duck hunting quite a bit, but have never hunted dinosaur. I hear it tastes like chicken :-). You get tradtional guns as well. You can also go for the 2 pistol mode. Anyway, expect this one to be a big hit for both platforms. Disney has purchased a lot of media to help build awareness and drive sales. Be looking for it at a Sam's Club near you.
