It was all the rage today. MacBook Air. Are you talking about it, too? Or did you leave that talking to the neighbors. The new notebook design is about being thin (3/4 of an inch "thin"), and weighs just three pounds. The rest of the specs are not earth shattering by any means -- 2g of ram, 80g hard drive, and a Core 2 Duo processor. There is not an onboard optical drive, but you can buy an optional external drive if you so desire. Price tag -- starts at $1799 and can go up to $3098 if you change the hard drive and processor speed. It is definitely sleek, cool, etc, but not sure of the practical nature for an everyday user. But then again, that is not really Apple's target customer anyway.
