Intel vs. AMD.  Does it really matter anymore?  Here is why I ask -- we can put a pc on our shelf with an Intel processor and then refresh it with an AMD processor and guess what?  It sells the same.  We have been processor neutral for several years, and it works for us.  Is the AMD vs Intel debate just another brand debate only (like Chevy/Ford or Coke/Pepsi)?  OR are there really performance differences that will benefit the general consumer?  Maybe some processors actually work better with different OEM's.  What is the best combo?  HP/AMD, Dell/Intel, Toshiba/Intel, Acer/AMD?
